  • Along with Advocard, CAPS has produced a form that can be used to make an Advance Statement and one that can be used to withdraw an Advance Statement. Service users are welcome to download these below:

Service User Guides to the Mental Health Act

The Mental Health (Care & Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003 gives people who experience mental health difficulties the right to access independent advocacy services. This applies to both individual and collective advocacy.
